In the wild, only 1 in 20,000 eggs reaches adulthood.
With Free Hatchery systems, in use worldwide since 2009, we raise this rate dramatically. A single system can rear 100,000 juveniles and return them to the wild.

The third pillar: Free Hatchery
Fisheries in Turkey have long been handled under two headings: capture and aquaculture. Worldwide, the system is now handled under three. Applied in more than ten countries, Free Hatchery restocks the wild with ten times the total of everything produced through aquaculture in Turkey — without large land-based facilities or high costs. We apply this system in our projects with state support and scientific partnerships.
